Dart Frog Dash!!!

Stephanie Malik and I ran the Dart Frog Dash together on Saturday!! It was a 5K race at the Zoo!! I had a lot of fun doing it!! It was a totally needed dose of friendly competition that I have been missing!!! Mal-dawg and I are looking for our next race to compete in together!! Little Good News!!

Ever heard the song "Little Good News" by Anne Murray?? Well, I have been thinking about this song quite a bit recently. With all the BAD news that we have been hearing!! Virginia Tech massacre, murders in BG, Bluffton bus accident, even more deaths of our troops...it is endless!! Here is part of a verse and the chorus of Anne Murray's song!! So true!!!

ONE DAY!!

No I am not getting married!!! :) But this cake is beautiful, and someday I want to make cakes like this!! My plains are to sometime soon go to pastry/baking school and learn how to make beautiful wedding cakes and things of that sort!!! I love to bake!!! What a cake though!!!!

Venipuncture!!!

Today at school we were scientific guineapigs!! We got to poke our partners in an attempt to find their vein and start an IV!! I admit... I was freaked at first, but once I got in there and started working, it wasn't too bad!! I was successful on my first venipuncture experience!!! That should make everyone feel secure knowing that I may one day be taking care of you!!(well lets hope not) But at least I will know how to start an IV!!!!

Easter on Kids'Street!!!!

Happy Easter to All!!! I would like to give a shout out to all who served on Kids'Street on Easter Sunday!! Awesome turnout with the kids!! Also a Huge Thanks to the Large Group Staff for serving all 4 services!! You guys are awesome!!

This Easter on Kids'Street really hit home with me!! While Adam was telling the story of Jesus' death and resurrection to the kids this morning, I was backstage listening and I couldn't help but smile. I am just so Thankful that I am a part of something so huge and important. Telling these kids about Jesus and that they have hope to be with God forever someday. WOW!! I just love it!! Absolutely love it!! I couldn't be more proud to be a part of something!!!

Ultimate Love!!!

Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ,^[f] the Son of the Blessed One?"

62"I am," said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Today is Good Friday, and I was just reflecting on the awful pain that Jesus endured. The totally Ultimate part is that he endured it all for us. His Love for all of us is so beyond this world that he went through that and ultimately died on the cross. Jesus died so we could be saved. He Gave his life!!! WOW!! Now that is Ultimate Love!!

Ouch!!!

This is my older brother Tyler!! I Love him to death, but he is a nut!! Playing a little roller hockey and he took a hockey stick to the back of the head!! It looks so much worse than it actually is. It turned out to be a pretty good size cut that possibly, maybe could have needed stitches. However, a little superglue bandaide stuff in the cut worked pretty darn well. Pretty cool looking picture though!! No Worries, he is OK!!

ooo This is just wrong!!

These are pictures of my room in its current state!! Wow!! This is an awful site!! There are reasons for this madness however. Time is the #1 factor!! With school and work I don't have enough time to spend keeping this room clean. To let you all know though, I do not enjoy this mess... I get a headache everytime I walk in!! However, since i started this blog, it shows i do have some extra time after all!! I will have to get to cleaning this weekend!!

Hi!! Thanks for visting my new Blog!! I am fairly new to this blogging world but people seem to love it so I figured I would give a whirl. When I was deciding what to name my blog I was thinking of things that I find very important in my life.
